Warsaw sightseeing
Tour no. 1
During our city tour you
get general impression of the Poland's capital completed by
walks and inside visit to Wilanow Palace, the baroque residence
of King John III Sobieski, the famous conqueror of the Turks at
the battle of Vienna in 1683 [on Tuesdays - Palace on the
Water]. By bus you pass the Royal Route with its aristocratic
residences, historic churches and famous statues. Historical
sites as the Ghetto Memorial, the Monument of Warsaw Uprising,
the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Grand Theatre, Chopin's
monument, the Belvedere Palace and then get all the way to the
Old Town. Here you enjoy a walking tour passing by the Castle
Square, King Sigismund's Column, St. John's Cathedral, the Old
Town Market Square and the Barbican.
Itinerary: Old Town -
the Castle Square - King Sigismund's Column, St. John's
Cathedral - the Old Town Market Square - the Barbican - the
Ghetto Memorial - the Monument of the Warsaw Uprising - the Tomb
of the Unknown Soldier - the Grand Theatre - Chopin's Monument -
the Belvedere Palace - Lazienki Royal Palace (on Tuesdays),
Wilanow Palace (on all other days).
